Ayurverdic massage
Ayurverdic massage is an Indian approach of the therapeutic massage which focuses holistically on well-being and the quality of life.
Ayurverda means “science of life”. Ayurverda massage is applied to 107 marmas, which are the energy centres of the body. Every person is classified in one of the three (Doshas), Ayurveda temperamental types Vata, Pitta and Kapha. The therapist begins the massage from the legs upwards doing the analogous movements and using herbs and oils that correspond to the temperamental type of every person. Starting with soft movements at first and continuing with more intense depending on the case , Ayurverda massage is actually a ritual. The peak of the treatment is to fully soak our skin with the therapeutic oil through the specialised massage. After some sessions, the body gradually returns to balance giving a sense of health and well-being. The results of course don’t stop in the body. The person experiences a sentimental and mental peace as well as mental clarity. Ayurverda massage is a unique experience in which a person can experience what body, soul and spirit harmonisation means.
